
Parent Help is an organisation that CARES! Started in 1989, this community agency offers help and services to families across the length and breadth of New Zealand. They do this by offering a unique parenting helpline, available 24 hours a day – seven days a week! Their ability to “Listen Well” to those that need an ear of support is a gift that is unlimited in their eyes!
Alongside the Parent help line they provide Counselling and Family Therapy, Parent Education Courses, Anger Change, and Support, Information and Resources in all areas of parenting issues from the smallest problem to the most serious issue of child abuse.
Parent Help as a registered Charity are able to support New Zealand Families via dedicated volunteers and funding from a variety of sources including central and local government, philanthropic and community trusts, sponsorships and donations.

JDI as a team wholly SUPPORT and are impressed with what the Parent Help team do. We are happy and privileged to COACH Parent Help to be the best at what they do.
We do this as part of our Coaching for a cause programme and aim to further improve and build Parent Help’s capacity, pay the existing employees higher salaries, increase the organization’s membership and the number of parents who use the facility, and increase its overall visibility within the community.

In today's environment, it is so easy to become caught up in our own world and not realise that there are many people out there who are unable to partake in the opportunities many of us have... and many of those people will be able to make a considerable contribution to our society if given a chance. The ActionCOACH New Zealand Educational Foundation is one vehicle for change.
